BAPAC is committed to providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for our pupils. This allows our young people to re-engage with learning and either return to mainstream schooling or successfully move to a more specialist setting. During this time, the learning needs of each individual pupil are accurately assessed to support personalisation of learning. A structured curriculum is delivered through high quality teaching, with specific attention being given to the social, emotional and mental health needs of learners and any underlying special needs.
Positive relationships with outside agencies also support individuals moving forward. A Safer Schools Police Officer is attached to BAPAC along with other organisations that support the curriculum and carry out targeted intervention with individuals where necessary.
